Mineral Polymer Composite Boards are manufactured by an extrusion process, in which a thermoplastic polymer is mixed with fiber or wood dust. In addition, numerous additives are incorporated that allow improving material processing, mechanical properties and the resistance to UV radiation, among others. The wood content is variable, being usual that the proportion varies between five hundredth and seventieth by mass.
